Seogwipo Multicultural Family Support Center opens Korean language course |
|
Seogwipo Multicultural Family Support Center has opened the Korean language course for married migrant women so that they can systematically learn Korean. The purpose of the course is to help multicultural families settle happily and stably on Jeju Island.
The course consists of four classes ranging from the introductory to the advanced, and married migrant women will be assigned to classes depending on their results of a preliminary examination. All the classes are free of charge. From this March to November, the classes will be held from between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Seogwipo Multicultural Family Support Center twice a week. Each class is 2 hours long.
There will be one tutor per class. All the tutors in this program are qualified teachers who either have a teacher’s license or have at least 120 hours of experience teaching Korean.
This Korean language course will give married migrant women the opportunity to learn Korean and to meet others with whom they can share their experiences.
