Jeju National Museum has prepared many programs for elementary school students on summer vacation.
The Museum will hold the program “Yongcheon Lava Tube is a treasure house” every Tuesday from July 26 to Aug. 16. This program will help students understand World National Heritages and let students indirectly experience the mysteries of the Yongcheon Lava Tube. Also, students will see many kinds of earthenware excavated from the tube and experience the making earthenware models.
Those eligibile are third to sixth graders of elementary school, and 30 students will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis by Internet from July 18 to 22.
Another program at the museum is “Do Dream,” a museum summer camp from August 10 to 12 for 40 elementary school students from fourth to six grade. The application period is July 27 to 29.
There will be an orientation on the first day of the camp. On the second and third days, there will be many programs, including “Meeting the World Natural Heritage Jeju through Game and Play,” “Meeting Celebrity,” and “Making UCC of Jeju.” The students participating in the camp should bring a sleeping bag, a writing set, toiletries, clothes, and so on.
