Heavy rain and high winds are expected to disrupt life on Jeju for the second time this season as tropical storm “Damrey” approaches.
The Jeju Regional Meteorological Administration (JRMA) announced that the tropical storm is moving toward Shandong peninsula, China from Kagoshima, Japan at a speed of 37 km/h. Jeju will be affected from 3 a.m. on Thursday.
The average anticipated precipitation will be between 50 mm and 150 mm per hour. The tropical storm has a pressure of 975 hPa. It is approximately 250 km with winds reaching speeds of 34 m/s.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration weather forecast, the temperature on Jeju will be between 25C and 30C tomorrow. Jeju will experience rain until Friday. |
