On June 1, 2013 there was the “5th ECO healing” festival in Saryeoni Forest. This festival is going to be held from May26 to June 9.
The festival hosted many activities and special booths, such as: walking with Gipshin which is korea’s traditional shoes on your feet, sending a message in a post card, and more on.
The Halla Ilbo a highly respected newspaper company hosted this festival. People from all around Korea gathered to walk the path. There were even foreigners in the forest.
There were a guy named Bruce Bekowzrz who came to Jeju with his family. He is from America and he came to Korea because for his adopted son. His son’s hometown is Dae Goo. The family had traveled many places in Korea including Daegoo, Jeju, Seoul etc.
The family came to Jeju to walk and for healing. According to Bruce Saryeoni forest is the place where it has many trees and good air.
Another person had the same idea as Bruce.
The person who had the same thought is the son of Jung sung-sam who is a hiker from Jeju, Jung seong Joo. Jung seong Joo is in the 5th grade in elementary school, and this was his third visit to the Saryeoni forest path. He felt that it is a good place for familys to walk. In one word he described the Saryeoni forest as “excllent.”
There are a lot of healing places in the world including Saryeoni forest. So if you have a chance you have to come out and go out somewhere to heal yourself instead of staying at home and doing things like pain. |
