Jeju International Development Center (JDC) plans to hold the JDC Global Festival at the JDC Corporate Hall located on the campus of Jeju Science Park early next month (Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013). JDC wishes to welcome foreign residents from many countries to come together and celebrate the year-end festival. JDC hopes the occasion serves to promote better understanding between diverse cultures and among participants.

One of the main events of the festival program will be a potluck-style food fare at the food corner where dishes prepared by participants can be sampled and enjoyed. The program also includes storytelling and a talent show in which outstanding contestants can win prizes and souvenirs which will be presented to each and every individual or team contestant in the show. The funds raised will be donated to the tragic victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

JDC are glad to note that the participants themselves volunteered in advance to engage in the festival event. A modest amount of the food and entrée costs will be subsidized for every participant at the food corner, so please come early to avoid disappointment and also to see the talent show.
