The Mt. Halla winter festival will be held at Eorimok Square with a variety of sports and events. Mt. Halla was designated a national park in 1970, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2002 and a World Natural Heritage Site in 2007. Jeju Tourism Organization will provide a free shuttle bus to the event.

Dates: Every Saturday and Sunday from Dec. 21 to Jan. 26

Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Venue: Mt. Halla (Eorimok)

Events: Skiing, photos and ice carving, ice slides, folk games (tuho, an arrow-throwing game, and jegichagi, Korean hackey sack)

Foreign participants will receive souvenirs and Jeju guide books.
