Jeju Girl’s Commercial High School participated in an international youth basketball championship in Hanoi, Vietnam from Dec. 5-11. The team, invited by invited by the Women’s Vietnam Basketball League, consisted of 13 players including the principal, Kim Seongik, and was intended to promote physical education.

The school believes that the participating students benefited from fostering a variety of personal and interpersonal skills by lining up against teams from Hanoi, Yen Bai, Halong and Quang Nihn. While cultural exchanges were encouraged between the students, it was also an opportunity to promote the image of Jeju Island abroad.
