KIS High School holds opening ceremonySchool adds to existing facilities at the Jeju Global Education City

Korea International School (KIS) held an opening ceremony for KIS High School at the school's sports complex at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 29. The high school students will arrive in September and to spacious new classrooms after previously using rooms in the elementary and middle schools.

The five-floor 31,287-square-meter building includes a dormitory, support building and teachers' building and its opening was attended by around 800 students, teachers, parents and others. KIS Jeju now provides a full curriculum from from first to 11th grade and 200 high school students are expected at the school. KIS opened its elementary and middle schools in Sept. 2011.
