Jeju Convention and Vistors Bureau has plans to introduce a “MICE Card” to be used for public transportation on the island.

The card will make it easier for MICE visitors to travel around the island, especially as most MICE visitors are non-Korean and can encounter problems using local buses, etc. JCVB is also planning to add credits to the cards and distribute Jeju guidebooks so visitors can go home with a warm impression of the island.

In developing the plan, JCVB is looking for support from tourist attractions and businesses to increase partnerships with the MICE industry. This would ensure the benefits of MICE growth is shared by all on the island.
