Nonjinmul, about 2.5 k.m. west of Jungmun as the crow flies, is a swimming area with a difference. Sheltered from the waves, it is also safe for children, although sensitive feet should be protected from the rocks. Facilities include a swimming pool, toilets, lockers, convenience stores and restaurants. Rock pooling is also popular as is the annual festival in August.
