The photographer Seo Jeong-hee moved to Jeju in 2011 and at a show in Seoul he will display his work made on the island.

Titled ‘Catharsis of the Side and Color – Color in Color, About the Colors of Jeju,’ his work focuses on Jeju traditional houses and can be seen at the Canson Gallery in Chungmuro (충무로) from Dec 7 to 12.

Seo has promoted Jeju through art fairs in Milan, Dubai, and Singapore, in addition to private exhibitions held in Jeju.

To show the variety of local traditional houses in his photos, he focuses on the colors that best represent the local culture.
