Hiking at night on Hallasan Mountain will be allowed for people wanting to see the first sunrise of 2016.

The Hallasan National Park Management Office will permit admission to the park on the Seongpanak course from 12am on Jan 1.

On December 31, the office will deploy its employees to the shelter of Jindalaebat and the control center at Dongneung to guide visitors.

Fire services and mountain rescue teams will also be on standby for safety-related accidents.
