Jeju City will establish a 2.2 billion won clean waste collection system to improve quality of life in Jeju’s expanding urban areas.
Much of the money will go on installing rain shelters at waste disposal sites and purchasing more waste collection vehicles.
There will also be a pilot project of 10 solar-powered compactor trash cans and installation of LED lighting at waste disposal sites.
