DOZENS of electric vehicles have toured through Jeju City as final preparations for the third International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE) get underway.
The carbon-neutral cars were proudly displayed near Jeju Stadium on Saturday March 12 before silently setting off on a 16km route around the island.
Representatives from global carmakers and local dignitaries were in attendance at the rally which also included a zero emissions electric powered bus and electric powered vans.
The vehicles left the stadium area at 2pm to the sound of traditional drumming and live music from a saxophone quintet.
The event comes ahead of the the third IEVE which launches at the International Convention Center in Jungmun on March 18-24.
