A team of linguists are to run a course aimed at increasing the number of speakers of Jeju's native language.

The Jejustudies Archives affiliated with the Jeju Development Institute will run the Jeju language course from April 18 to May 3.

Migrants as well as locals will be able to learn how to write and pronounce the language and practice making grammatical sentences.

The lecture will be offered in the Jeju Chamber of Commerce & Industry by five local linguists.

The schedule and an application form are available on Jeju Development Center and Jejustudies Archives websites.
