A taste of Hawaii comes to the first Jeju Food and Wine Festival taking place May 11-14.
Famous chefs from Korea, US and Japan will be re-interpreting the island's food and cooking up their own delicious recipes with the island's ingredients.
Day one of the festival, Bounty of Jeju, will be held at Jeju Hyatt Regency on May 11. Grand Kitchen with Masters follows on Day 2 when Korean and foreign chefs pair up for a cook-off.
The festival culminates in a seven-course gala dinner at the Haevichi Hotel under the theme Hawaii Meets Jeju with some of the island's best chefs cooking up some culinary gems.
The festival is co-hosted by the Jeju Tourism Organization and Jeju Food and Wine Festival Foundation, along with the official support by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. For more information visit www.jejufoodandwinefestival.com.
