Jeju is well known as a romantic honeymoon destination and ex Sistar singer Soyou's newest video shows her enjoying a romantic adventure on the island.
The video was shot to go with her new song "The Blue Night of Jeju Island."
The song, which was originally released in 1988 by Choi Song-won, is the first the singer has released since Sistar split earlier this year.
Uniquely Jeju sights featured in the video include Sunrise Peak, Gotjawal forest, Batdam Stone walls, Biyangdo, and new brand of Jeju Soju called 'Blue Night.'
Here are some of the spots that Soyou and her romantic interest visit in the video!
First, Soyou enjoys a walk in one of Jeju's many Bulrush fields.
Meanwhile, who is this hiking in the Gotjawal forest?
Jeju is covered ingotjawal forests and they a popular place to take a walk and cool down in summer.
Soyou then visits one of Jeju's most famous spots, Sunrise Peak.
Sunrise Peak is one of the most famous spots on Jeju, as such, it is no surprise that Soyou chose to visit here for her romantic trip. But who is that in the background again?
A quick hike up an Oreum
Oreum are volcanic cones and there are said to be 368 of them on Jeju. One of them, Geomun Oreum, is one of Jeju's three Unesco heritage sites. It is a fairly short climb and offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
A chance meeting next to some Batdam stone walls
Jeju is said to have three abundances: wind, stone, and women. Batdam Stone walls are found throughout Jeju and are made from the volcanic rock found on the island.
Is there anything more romantic than a sunset at the beach?
Jeju's northern coast offers spectacular sunsets. Surely there is no place more perfect for a chance romantic meeting?
Perhaps an evening stroll at Hyeopjae Beach?
The island in the background is Biyang-do, which is viewable from Hyeopjae Beach, one of the most popular beaches on Jeju.
The video finishes with the new couple enjoying a beachside meal, and some 'Blue night' Soju.
