A cruise ship arrived at Jeju Civilian-Military Complex Port for the first time

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced that Quantum of the seas of the Royal Cruise Line arrived at the port at 5:00am on Sept. 29th. From this arrival, Jeju government investigated any problems on the ship while entering and leaving.

Quantum of the seas is 16,866 tons and has 4905 passengers and 1,500 crewmembers. It left Shanghai to visit Jeju and now go back to Shanghai. Tourists will stay in the ship and only supplies from Jeju will be loaded.

Jeju government plans to check any problems in order to prepare cruise tourism in the future.

Jeju Civilian-Military Complex Port was completed in last February and Jeju government recently has finished the installation of passenger boarding facilities and mobile facilities. The cruise terminal will be completed in March next year.
