Photo exhibition of 100 Years of Jeju Education

The Jeju Education Museum is displaying 70 images from the last 100 years, chronicling the evolution of Jeju education.
The images show changes in the role and manner of education on Jeju Island from 1907 until the present.

The Vienna Boys Choir New Year’s Concert

Starting at 5 p.m., Feb. 5 - Parade from City Hall to Gwandeokjeong
11 a.m., Feb. 6 - Yipchun Gut performance

The ritual which marks the beginning of spring on the solar calendar, is a reenactment of the traditional rite where exorcists, a local magistrate and admin-istrators, along with local residents convened at Gwandeokjoeng to wish for a bountiful harvest and to drive away bad spirits.
