Typhoon Talim has changed its course slightly but is still expected to affect the island from later today.
The Jeju Island Disaster Preparation and Response Headquarters started to prepare areas vulnerable to damage from the typhoon from yesterday. They warned that strong winds are expected and that Jeju residents should be prepared.
Between Sept. 15 and 17 there is expected to be around 50-100mm of rain, with some areas even experiencing up to 200mm or more.
Jeju International Airport is also said to preparing for the chance of canceled airplanes from later today. |
