Danger Man
|
No.11 Jair
With the hat trick last game against Gangwon, the Brazilian is now in a five way tie forthe K-League leading scorer. Look for him to try and distance himself from the rest of the pack.
|
No.17 Lee Jong Ho
Difficult to pick the Dragons’ Danger Man since, well, on this defensive team no one has been that dangerous. Lee leads his team with 3 goals, 2 of them first goals, and with the game the Dragons play, a single goal might just be enough.

Overview
It’s going to be an interesting match, folks. You got one trigger happy team (Jeju United) away against a very defensive team take doesn’t make goals or conceded them (Chunnam Dragons).
The Dragons, with 14 points and in 10th place, are a win away from entering the coveted top 8 slots in the K-League. Jeju (25 points) is in 2nd over FC Seoul based on goal differentials and with three teams that could unseat them, they need to win to stay at the top.
Jeju has had a hot foot all season with an impressive 25 goals for, with 11 of those away. The Dragons have a total of 12 goals all season, but have conceded the same.
From the way Jeju has been playing as of late, the Orange will leave Gwangyang Stadium with a tie. They have been going back and forth, winning one, drawing the next, since the beginning of April. If Jeju want to unseat Suwon they are going to have to learn to win consecutive games.
Expect Chunnam to play more aggressive and try to get the first goal then clamp down on defence. Though Jeju are solid up front, if it was not for the constant and often spectacular play of keeper Han Dong Jin, those 25 goals would mean much less than they do right now.
The Weekly predicts … very hard to tell with Jeju away. 1-1 draw.
Kickoff is Saturday, May 19 at 4:40 p.m. at Gwangyang Stadium.
