Jin Air, the budget airline based in Seoul, is offering a travel package featuring Jeju Olle, an established walking trail system on the island. The package is a 3-day special program to be held once a month from September through December.
The first package is Sept. 10-12. Novelist Kim Ju-young, mountaineer Um Hong-gil and Jeju-born actress Ko Doo-sim will join the trek for the first, second and third Olle courses.
The second program is Oct. 15-17 with poet Chung Ho-seung accompanying participants on the fourth, fifth and sixth Olle courses.
The third program Nov. 12-14 features climber Um, joining the hike of the seventh, eighth and ninth courses.
For the final program, Dec 10-12, novelist Park Bum-shin will hike courses 10, 11 and 12. Olle, in the Jeju dialect, means a narrow path leading to the front gate of a house from the street.
