World Culture Open (WCO) has announced a series of sessions and talks at the Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity later this May.
The organisation is staging three culture sessions at The International Covention Center (ICC) Jeju on Friday, May 27.
A Young Leaders Culture Summit in which artists, arts promoters and entrepreneurs discuss their ideas and initiatives to improve cultural diversity in Asia takes place at 2pm.
The event, in the ICC's Halla Hall, will be participatory in nature with those attending the sessions invited to take part and contribute.
The session will be followed by an artists' panel talk on inspirational aspects of Jeju arts and culture, to take place at 3.40pm, also in Halla Hall.
With Jeju picked as a Culture City of East Asia for 2016 - Nara in Japan and Ningbo in China are the other two cities - talks will focus on ways the chosen locations can build lasting creative partnerships. These talks take place from 3.40pm to 5.30pm.
The sessions and talks are in affiliation with the WCO's Culture Designers Fair taking place in Jeju on May 27-28.
