Branksome Hall Asia (BHA), founded in 2012, is an international school located in Daejung Eup, Jeju, Korea. It is an all girls school that currently accepts Kindergarten to Grade 10. Branksome Hall in Canada is an indepentent girls’ school with about 110 years of history and is consistently ranked as one of the best boarding schools in the world.
According the principal at BHA, Mr. Glen Radojkovich, last year the school in Canada was ranked in the Number 1 boading school in the world. BHA currently has about 550 students in attendance with the potential capacity of 1200 students at the Jeju campus alone. Currently there are 56 international students, mostly from China and some from Russia, Singapore, Japan, Irish and America. There are also some children of the faculty members.
On Dec.2, 2013, JDC junior journalists visited Branksome Hall Asia. Glen Radojkovich, the principal of Branksome Hall Asia, introduced the school to the journalists.
He said. “The motto of the school is ‘Be ramarkable’. We believe every students has opportunity to do something remarkable.” And the school emphasised that all students at Branksome Hall Asia can participate in an exchange program with Branksome Hall in Canada, where girls from both schools experience the school life and surrounding community of their sister school. |
